Tap into Red Nose Day

Offer Taster Sessions

Comic Relief's Red Nose Day is just around the corner and it's the ideal opportunity to contrive an event to raise your profile and demystify your therapy at the same time.   

The easiest way to do this is to offer 10-15 minute taster sessions in exchange for donations.

 Obviously this is easier for some therapies than others, and you may need to factor in time for some kind of health assessment.

Or you could offer cut-price sessions for the day for new clients and donate all the money to Comic Relief.

Maximise your exposure

If you work in a clinic you could get all the therapists on board (tip - give each visitor tickets for a maximum of 2 or 3 sessions, so that you can see more people, otherwise half a dozen visitors will hog the whole day).

If you can contrive to offer your taster sessions in a public space, eg shopping centre or sports centre, you'll have a wider audience viewing what's going on, so have someone on hand to give out leaflets.

Remember to issue a press release in advance of your event.

Take Action: Grab some friends and raise funds for charity.
