Guerrilla Marketing!

Do something quirky with your marketing!

This is one of our favourite means of marketing, because it's fun.

Guerrilla Marketing is about going under the razor wire and doing something quirky. The idea is to get your brand noticed in unusual settings or to appeal to people's sense of fun or curiosity.

Think 'Innocent Smoothies' or the philosophical quotes of Mr Booja-booja (Debs' favourite vegan chocolates).

Here are a few examples:

 Set up free taster demos in the foyer of your local cinema / health food shop / library. (Tip - people don't like to be the first to try something, so take a few friends to act as stooges).

 Offer your local cafe / pub owner free therapy in exchange for having signs saying "..'Your name' recommends the Avocado salad to help keep you trim" or "The chef is in a good mood today - he's just been for reflexology with 'your name'. You could maybe set up a range of quirky messages to last a whole month.

 Offer your services free to the cast of the local amateur dramatics society to calm their pre-show nerves.

 People love quizzes, so set up a treasure hunt in your local area or at a big event such as a fete. Create a form with 10 or 20 clues to locations - make the answers to the clues pertinent to your therapy if you can, eg the swimming pool to encourage exercise, the fruit & veg shop to encourage healthy eating etc. Put the people with the correct answers into a draw for some free therapy.

 Create some de-stress flyers for the local estate agents and ask them to hand them out to their clients (who could well be stressed) in exchange for free therapy.

Be sure to create some PR around your quirky tactics. Certainly create a splurge on your own social media channels and issue a press release of course.

Take Action to do some Guerrilla Marketing!
